وقتی ‌برگشتم‌، پری ‌را نزدیک ‌پارک بهجت ‌آباد دیدم‌. داشت ‌در کوچه‌ای ‌می‌دوید. دیگر گمت‌نمی‌کنم‌. دیگر گمت ‌نمی‌کنم‌. دنیا پر از آدم‌هایی است که همدیگر را گم کرده‌اند. ولی من دیگر گمت‌ نمی‌کنم‌.. همه ‌می‌دویدند، وعده‌ای ‌وسط‌ خیابان ‌به ‌این ‌سو و آن‌سو شلیک‌ می‌کردند. یک‌ نعش‌کش‌ هم ‌رسیده‌بود. دو نفر داشتند جنازه‌ای ‌را پرت‌ می‌کردند روی‌ بقیه ‌نعش‌ها، و نعش‌کش‌ مثل ‌ماشین ‌آشغال ‌جمع‌کن ‌آرام ‌پیش‌ می‌رفت‌ و چند نفری ‌در کنارش‌ چشم‌ به‌گوشه و کنار ‌خیابان ‌داشتند...
